4:00 PM
Historic Inns of Annapolis spreads rooms among three buildings around State Circle. From there, Maryland Avenue, Main Street, City Dock, and the Naval Academy gate are all part of the same compact walk.
5:15 PM
Begin at Susan Campbell Park, watch the narrow harbor at Ego Alley, then climb Main Street past the brick commercial blocks to St. Anne's Church. City Dock construction may shift promenade access and parking, but the harbor-to-circle walk remains the clearest introduction to downtown Annapolis.
7:00 PM
Blackwall Hitch sits near the bridge and works for a broad seafood-and-steakhouse menu. Vin 909 trades the large dining room for wood-fired pizza, seasonal small plates, and a converted bungalow farther into Eastport.
Saturday
Enter the Yard in the morning, continue uphill through the civic center after lunch, and use the afternoon for the reserved boat departure or a harbor-side alternative.
8:00 AM
Iron Rooster serves breakfast and brunch a few steps from Ego Alley and the foot of Main Street. Allow enough time to reach the current visitor entrance with the identification required for public access.
9:30 AM
Begin with the Visitor Center orientation, then use the available tour format for Bancroft Hall, memorials, the Chapel area, and the Severn River edge. The Academy is an active military institution, so current access rules control the route.
12:30 PM
Leave the Yard for Maryland Avenue or Main Street, then circle the Maryland State House and continue to the William Paca House garden or the Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Museum. Choose one interior; the street plan and Georgian exteriors supply the rest of the walk.
Reserved departure
Use the operator's confirmed boarding point because City Dock work can change access. If wind, storms, or a cancellation keeps the boat in, walk the seawall, cross the Spa Creek bridge, and continue along the Eastport waterfront instead.
7:00 PM
Lewnes' is the traditional steakhouse choice near the marinas, with classic cuts, seafood, and a small dining room. Boatyard Bar & Grill is the more casual alternative when sailing culture and a broader seafood menu fit the evening better.
Sunday
Cross into Eastport after breakfast, follow the marina side toward Back Creek, and use the museum campus only when its published hours match the morning.
8:30 AM
Bread and Butter Kitchen overlooks Back Creek and suits an Eastport-first morning. A downtown breakfast is the shorter choice when checkout or the drive home limits the marina walk.
10:00 AM
The route passes working boatyards, marina basins, and sailboat rigging before reaching the former McNasby Oyster Company site. Enter the museum when its official hours allow; otherwise use the waterfront campus and Back Creek views as the final stop.
11:30 AM
A downtown garage points back toward U.S. Route 50 without another sightseeing loop. Add Quiet Waters Park only with several free hours; its forest trails and South River shoreline deserve more than a hurried drive-through.
